- 14. 4. 2007, Hockenheimring -Miroslav Forman, an experienced driver of the CSMS team, and his new team-mate Šimon Kubišta started the season resolutely by taking a podium spot in each of the two races of the opening event of this year of the Divinol Tourenwagen Cup. They made good use not only of the thorough preparation undertaken in the course of the winter break, but also of numerous tests carried out at the spring-time testing events held at the Most and Brno racing circuits. In the first of the two Saturday races (Uhsport Divinol TW+GT Cup, www.uhsport.de), Miroslav Forman, with the white-painted Alfa Romeo car of the category up to 2000 cc, claimed the excellent second place. At 16.15 the second race was started, and Šimon Kubišta, who is new to the team, took the cup for the third place. 'I am glad that we fared well at the beginning of the new season,' said racing driver Miroslav Forman, satisfied after the race. And, he went on: 'I would like to express our thanks to the mechanics who prepared the car for the races in an excellent way. Naturally, we are looking forward to the next event, which is held towards the end of May at our domestic circuit, in Most. We would like to achieve there the same or even better results.' |
