- 27. 5. 2007, Most -Last weekend, the 2007 Divinol Tourenwagen Cup series (Uhsport Divinol TW+GT Cup, www.uhsport.de) continued at the Autodrom Most Circuit. Preceded by heavy rain, the Saturday race took place on the wet track. The category up to 2000 cc was contested by the CSMS team's driver Šimon Kubišta, who came to the fore owing to his brisk performance at the wheel of the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA car. He even struggled for the third place, but had to settle for third in the end. By Sunday, the track had dried out, and Kubišta started the Sunday race from the sixth spot of the grid. Owing to his fine driving style, he gradually fought his way to the front of the field, and finished in third place. Also taking part was Laura Hájková with her Škoda Octavia car. Her main objective was to try out the competitive environment of the DIVINOL CUP. However, this race also helped her in the preparation for the next event of the Česká pojišťovna Škoda Octavia Cup series, and, moreover, she even managed to take a fine sixth place in the Sunday race. |
