- 13. 5. 2007, Most -On 12 and 13 May 2007, within the framework of the Česká pojišťovna - Škoda Octavia Weekend, another event of the International Racing Circuit Championship of the Czech Republic was held at the Autodrom Most Circuit, with the ALCATEL-Lucent Motorsport team's drivers contesting both the Saturday endurance race and the Sunday sprint race. The endurance race started at 14.59 on Saturday. The most successful of the team's vehicles involved was the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Cup car with drivers Kubišta, Forman and Lepka taking turns at its wheel. Having covered 85 laps, the three drivers clocked a time of 3:01:49.210 to take the fourth place in the category up to 2000 cc. Drivers Nykodým and Matějovský with the other Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Cup car, on the other hand, were not so successful. Once again, they had to deal with numerous technical troubles. In the end, they came ninth. The Sunday sprint race was contested by three of the team's cars again. Miroslav Forman, at the wheel of the Alfa Romeo 156 S 2000, was faring very well. By claiming the fourth place (with a time of 24:09.116), he added valuable points for the overall drivers standings to keep his four-point lead, ahead of Maděryč, Páral and Bjoerk! The two Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Cup cars finished immediately behind the point-scoring positions: Jiří Nykodým came 10th (23:50.881) and Šimon Kubišta was 11th (23:51.502). |
