- 17. 3. 2007, Hradec Králové -Last Saturday, the filled-up hall of the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra saw a debut event, the "Award Ceremony for the Hradec Králové Region's Best Sportsmen of the Year 2006", which had been commissioned by the Hradec Králové Regional Authority and organized by the MC Production agency. The event was held under the auspices of Mr Pavel Bradík, President of the Region. Also attending were the guests of honour, that is, prominent personalities of recent and contemporary sport history, for example, Imrich Bugár (1983 Discus World Champion), long-jump jumper Denisa Ščerbová, race driver Stanislav Matějovský, Mr Josef Dovalil (Czech Olympic Committee vice-chairman for Olympism), and the foremost representatives of the Hradec Králové Region and of the City of Hradec Králové, who came to offer their congratulations the Region's outstanding sportsmen. At the end of the event, Mr Pavel Bradík, President of the Hradec Králové Region, not only thanked the reputable sportsmen for their excellent achievements, but also expressed his delight at the fine atmosphere in the hall and said that he was looking forward to the next year of the 'Award Ceremony for the best Sportsmen of the Hradec Králové Region'. |
