The first tests of Octavia Cup cars will start soon |
- 8. 2. 2007, Hradec Králové -The unusually warm weather of these days suggests that the spring is drawing near. The workshops are already bustling, attended not only by mechanics, but also by racing drivers. Towards the end of last week, one of them, Ctirad Hájek, visited the workshops of the stock company ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT a.s. in Hradec Králové. He came to check the progress of work on two Škoda Octavia Cup cars, which are being prepared for the upcoming season. After his visit to Hradec Králové, Ctirad Hájek summed up the state of the preparations as follows: 'My daughter Laura will be contesting this year of the Česká pojišťovna - Škoda Octavia Cup at the wheel of the first of the Octavia Cup cars that are being prepared in Hradec Králové, and the second of the race cars will be at my disposal. I am most satisfied with the current state of the preparations of both vehicles. However, the first rigorous tests will be important, which will start in three weeks' time at the Autodrom Most circuit provided that the weather is still favourable.' The third of the cars being prepared in the workshops is Michal Matějovský's Octavia Cup car, which will be on display in two weeks at the SPORT PRAGUE & SPORT FASHION exhibition in Prague (www.sportprague.cz). On Saturday, 24 February, an autographing event of the team's two young drivers, Laura Hájková and Michal Matějovský, will be staged at this exhibition as well. |
