First tests of the Octavia Cup cars at the Autodrom Most racing circuit |
- 5. 3. 2007, Most -This week, on Monday, three racing drivers, Michal Matějovský, Laura Hájková and Ctirad Hájek, arrived at the Autodrom Most racing circuit to start the tests of the Škoda Octavia Cup cars prepared by Stanislav Matějovský's team for the season 2007. 'We have come here to check the driving properties of the cars after the maintenance works performed in the winter period and, in particular, to coordinate the communication with the new team members. For the very young woman driver Laura Hájková, this is the first real opportunity to get acquainted with a car of this category. We will carry on with the tests before the beginning of the 2007 Česká pojišťovna Škoda Octavia Cup series. However, the first lap times attained - in not too favourable weather conditions - suggest that we will be able to achieve very good results in the races,' Roman Seidl, the team's technical manager, said after the tests. And, racing driver Michal Matějovský, who completed twenty introduction-type laps at the Most circuit on Monday, added: 'I am getting familiar with the car again. Testing is enormously important after the winter break and it is good that we will carry on with it.' |
