- 14. 3. 2007, Most -On Thursday, the trucks engaged in testing at the Most racing circuit were joined by the three blue-painted Octavia cars of the ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT a.s. company's drivers Laura Hájková, Ctirad Hájek and Michal Matějovský, who were getting ready for the first races. Michal was very satisfied with his car's adjustment which allowed him to clock lap times below 1´55´´ for the most part (with old tyres). Laura Hájková, with another Octavia car, also achieved excellent results. Lap by lap, she kept improving, and really enjoyed the test drives. Also involved was Michal Dolák (CarDo Racing Team, www.cardo-racing.com), who conducted in Most another series of tests before the first racing event of the European Truck Racing Cup in Barcelona (31 March - 1 April). After completing several test drives, he took advantage of the opportunity to cover several laps in the role of the co-driver of experienced truck driver Markus Bösiger, who also attended the event. 'In association with mechanics, we are adjusting the truck in order that we may compete in the first racing event. This way, I have been gathering the experience gradually. For example, the several drives with Markus today were very valuable. Testing is the first step, however, everything will turn out in the first racing event, which I am looking forward to,' said the young Czech driver after completing the tests. |
