- 14. 4. 2007, Most -The official testing event for the drivers of the Česká pojišťovna - Škoda Octavia Cup series was held at the Autodrom Most Circuit, in beautiful weather resembling the summer time. This testing event was attended not only by the O2 Motorsport team's drivers, that is, by Michal Matějovský, Laura Hájková and Ctirad Hájek, but also by Marek Ďurovkin, of Slovakia, who will be driving the yellow-painted Octavia car to represent the CSMS team. When the testing event was over, technical manager Roman Seidl said: 'The particular objective of this round of tests was to bring the cooperation within the team to perfection. It was for the first time that all of us met and so we had to do a lot of work in order to adjust the communication in the team. Naturally, we were also working on the cars' set-up. The test results are very satisfactory. Michal Matějovský was steadily clocking fine times which should definitely put him among the top-ranking drivers of the Octavia Cup. Moreover, Ctirad Hájek also succeeded in setting an excellent lap time, equal to his best one for the Most circuit.' |
