- 15. 5. 2007, Hradec Králové -The three days that passed from the first weekend racing event of the prestigious Česká pojišťovna - Škoda Octavia Cup series at the Autodrom Most Circuit offered the opportunity to pause and look back. The team's protagonist in those opening contests definitely was Michal Matějovský, who won each of the two races, regardless of the subsequent disqualification from the second one. He reverted to the last weekend and said: 'We still cast our minds back to that technical problem. It is my belief that the decision of the technical supervisors was not quite correct. However, the car is running very well and its set-up is perfect. So I am really confident of our success in the next racing events.' In the course of the first racing event, the team's facilities were visited by almost thirty guests, among them a group of Black Dogs LE MC motorbike riders (www.blackdogscz.com), who dominated the scene. On Sunday, they even livened up the lunch break by performing a presentation ride on the track of the Circuit. The team's fans may come back to the Autodrom Most Circuit at the second weekend in June when another event of the International Racing Circuit Championship of the Czech Republic is held there. The next event of the Octavia Cup series takes place at the Brno Circuit within the framework of the FIA WTCC (World Touring Car Championship) event held there from 15 to 17 June 2007. |
