Testing at the Most racing circuit |
- 1. 8. 2007, Most -On 1 August, racing drivers of the ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT a.s. company's team arrived at the Most circuit to perform another series of tests before the upcoming events. The team's general manager, Stanislav Matějovský, said in the course of the tests: "We met at the Most circuit at the beginning of the second half of this season because August offers one of its tightest programs. In fact, every week we take part in some racing event, either in the Czech Republic or abroad. Right this weekend, another round of the 2007 Divinol Tourenwagen Cup is held at the well known Hockenheimring circuit in Germany. And, a week later, the Most circuit will see the 'SUPERSPORT TROPHY 2007' event, which includes not only the races of the 2007 Česká pojišťovna - Škoda Octavia Cup, but also the races of Division 4 of the International Championship of the Czech Republic, i.e., the sprint races of the categories up to 2000cc and above 2000cc and the endurance race. This is one of this season's most important weekend racing events, because the results are essential for the final standings." In fine, sunny weather, the team was conducting tests to set up not only the Octavia Cup cars, but also the Alfa Romeo vehicles, which will participate in the upcoming Divinol Tourenwagen Cup races and in the races of Division 4 of the Championship of the Czech Republic. |
