The team's guests tried the SEAT TDI race car
On Thursday, 15 October, at the Brno Masaryk Circuit, the team was joined by Mr Jiří Balvín, the winner of the tombola drawn on the occasion of an anniversary of Miss World 2006 Taťána Kuchařová's "Beauty of Help" Foundation (www.krasapomoci.cz). Also attending were Mr Ondra Laušman, the winner of a prize competition of the www.ceskeokruhy.cz website, and Mr Martin Vencko, who had won the TELEFONICA O2 company's competition staged this year at the www.O2extra.czweb portal for racing circuit fans. All of them took advantage of the opportunity to take part in the team's testing event scheduled just before the season's last event, the 2009 'EPILOG' race.
The SEAT Leon TDI race car was brought to the Automotodrom Brno circuit by the SEAT Sport Slovakia team for racing driver Michal Matějovský, the only Czech driver who, under the SUNRED-BRT Spanish-Czech team's colours, has contested all the racing events of the last two years of the SEAT Leon Eurocup series. And, it was Michal Matějovský who gave the guests a ride in a race car at the Brno Circuit. Needless to say that, despite the adverse weather conditions, each of them was delighted. Michal Matějovský, too, was satisfied with the tests. 'It was really a pleasant surprise for me to see the car's behaviour at a temperature slightly above the freezing point. I am looking forward to the 'Epilog' race on Saturday,' Michal Matějovský said after the testing event attended by the guests.
