Excellent KplusK motosport in Silverstone

The first event of this year championship FIA GT (www.fiagt.com) took place just at the past weekend in English Silverstone. The test driver of team KplusK motosport Michal Matějovský was among those who watched on TV with expectations the first performance of his team mates in this serial back here in the Czech Republic. And the result of the new team was really wonderful. After the successfully driven Saturday qualification, which the drivers of both cars Saleen S7R finished on great places (Karl Wendlinger was the first and Mario Dominguez the sixth), on Sunday Wendlinger with Sharp won the race after two hours with time 5,4 sec faster than the second Maserati (Bertollini/Bartels) and before the third Corveta (Moreau/Massen). Also the second pair of the drivers of the team KplusK motosport Lacko and Dominguez finished on excellent place - they were 5th!

I met them all personally at the recent common testing on German circuit Lausitzring and I am glad to be able to congratulate them in my name and in the name of the whole team on this excellent victory and placing in the opening race of the season," said after the successful racing weekend the driver Michal Matějovský.
