Matějovský Among Winners 2014 Hradec Králové Sportsman of the Year Survey

Hradec Králové Philharmonic hall hosted the gala evening where the winners of The City of Hradec Králové Sportsman of the Year for 2014 survey were announced on Wednesday, 25th February 2015. Awards during the ceremony, which had started at 6 p.m., went to ten best sportspeople, three teams, and handicapped sportspeople; one celebrity was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Also the winner of the Hradecký deník's (newspaper) readers survey was announced there.

In the most prestigious category was one of the best ten motorsports representatives in the Hradec Králové Region the Křenek Motorsport team's racing driver, Michal Matějovský, as he had won the Europe Vice-Champion title in the FIA ETCC last year, as well as, together with his teammate Petr Fulín, The Nations' Cup for the Czech Republic, beating Russia finishing in the second place, and Slovakia that had taken the third place.

Performing in the gala evening hosted by the TV Prima channel presenter, Radek Šilhan, were a singer Eva Matějovská and a musical star Kamila Nývltová, but also many artists and sportspeople. There was food and drink in the Philharmonic space at the close of the evening.
